The Foundation

The association ispresently supported by approx. 140 members.
It raises the necessary funds through membership fees and donations.
The tax office has recognized the charitable status so that donations certificates may be issued.

Tasks of the Foundation

The central task of the association is the financial support of the youth work of the Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub.
As part of this activity is the Golf Club's golf and practice facilities available and provides the trainers and coaches.
The Foundation finances in addition to the major individual and group training to a large extent also the rest of the sports that the youth department is offering as school-AGs, school project weeks, holiday actions, training on the video and flight scope system, spring travels, competitions, travel costs, material and initial equipments.

Youth Work

The youth department of the Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub wants to give interested and talented children and young people knowledge of the game of golf and thus give them the opportunity to exercise this fascinating sport.
It is not necessary that the parents are members of the Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub.
Team sports in general promotes the development of children and adolescents.

The sport of golf in particular conveys features like:

  • concentration
  • body coordination
  • improving gross and fine motor activity
  • fairness
  • discipline

These skills learn children and adolescents in the Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub under the guidance of experienced professionals in cooperation with the Youth Coach of our Golf-Klub, Gesa Hamelau-Lange.

Target Group of Promotion

Supported and promoted are children and young people up to 16 years.
A high motivation for the game of golf and a strong commitment to the Klub is expected.
In some cases, a promotion to the age of 21 is possible under certain conditions.
Moreover particularly talented children and young people are supported individually, who are eligible for their sporting performances provided and have a special sporting perspective.
We are grateful for any kind of assistance and would be pleased if you would engage with your personal and/or financial commitment to such an important youth work of the Lübeck-Travemünder Golf-Klub.
