Foreword

Golf has to be experienced! This is the purpose of the trial membership.
Just "not-yet-golfer" it is difficult to explain where the immense appeal of this sport is and what particularly makes precisely the membership in our Klub.
Uncomplicated and without initial payments we want you to leave as soon as possible at our course – of course, only with handicap. Try it out for yourself.
This offer is valid also for experienced golfers who are seeking a new golfclub.

Beginning

The trial membership begins with acceptance of the application by the LTGK. He will reject the application if the applicant lives more than 35 kilometers from the seat of LTGK and / or there are indications that the trial membership will be discussed only to circumvent the normal green fee arrangements. The duration of the trial membership is limited to the year in which it is received.

Notice

The trial membership can be terminated in writing with a notice period of one month to the end of the year of application. If no notice, it automatically becomes an ordinary membership.

Prerequisite for the monthly fee is your permission to collect the amounts due by direct debit.
Otherwise, the entire amount shall be paid in advance of entry.

Foreword

Full membership is the standard membership of the LTGK with all rights and obligations of an ordinary club member.
The LTGK is a nonprofit organization; i.e. that it is run by an executive board of honorary members who are elected at the annual general meeting of the LTGK.
But this also means that - in contrast to so-called operating companies – the entire golf facility (clubhouse, golf course on their own or leased terrain) belongs to the association members, completey paid by them.
Through an investment levy a small return for the inputs of the old-members is to be provided.

Beginning and termination

Membership begins with accepting the membership application by the LTGK.
Full membership can be terminated with a period of three months to the end of each year in writing. If no timely termination, so it is automatically renewed for another year.

The annual fee will be reduced after 5 years to the level that then pay the club members who have joined the club before 01.07.2010 (currently € 1,300.00 since 2019).

Foreword

This offer is primarily aimed at beginners.
Of course, it is also open to members who are not interested in using the full offer when joining the club because of time constraints or health reasons, but still feel connected and want to participate in the Klub life.
So there is a limited C-course membership, however it also allows the golfer to play on the A and B courses against a reduced green fee.

Foreword

This form of membership appeals especially to golfers, who for example have an apartment in Travemünde, but use this so little that the creation of a full membership is not worthwhile.
They should be limited to golfers, whose primary residence is far away from LTGK that shuttling between residence and LTGK makes no sense.

Beginning

Prerequisite for establishing a non-local membership in LTGK that the applicant has his main residence at least 100km away from Travemünde during the entire period of the membership.
This is to demonstrate the LTGK when applying for membership by a certificate of registration.
The LTGK is entitled at any time to require any additional evidence.
Membership begins with acceptance of this application by the LTGK.

The non-local Membership may be terminated with a period of three months to the end of each year in writing.
If no timely termination, so it is automatically renewed for another year.

Foreword

The second membership is designed for golfers who are already a member of another golf club, but are playing so often on the LTGK-course (for example, because they have an apartment on the Baltic Sea), that entering into this membership is cheaper than to pay green fee.
However, this requires that the other club has the LTGK comparable fee structure.

Beginning

Membership begins with acceptance of this application by the LTGK.
Prerequisite for establishing a second membership in LTGK is that the applicant is a member of a German, the DGV affiliated golf club during the entire period of second membership who has a similar fee structure like the LTGK. This is to demonstrate the LTGK upon request.

Notice

The second membership may be terminated with a period of three months to the end of each year in writing. If no timely termination, so it is automatically renewed for another year.
